New information about Pokémon X and Y has come out!

There are brand new Pokémon in this generation! They are:

• Pancham (EN) / Yancham (JP), the panda Pokémon
• Fletchling (EN) / Yayakoma (JP), the Japanese robin Pokémon
• Helioptile (EN) / Elikitel (JP), the electricity generator Pokémon
• Gogoat, the goat Pokémon

There is a brand new region based in France called Kalos.

One of the city's name is revealed in the announcement trailer. It is called Miare City (JP).

Also, information about the starter Pokémon has been revealed.

Chespin (EN) / Harimaron (JP), the Shelled Chestnut Pokémon, has a tough shell covering its head and back, can learn Tackle, Growl, Vine Whip and Rollout, and is 0.4 m tall and weighs 9.0 kg.

Fennekin (EN) / Fokko (JP), the Fox Pokémon, has 200°C flames, and is 0.4 m tall and weighs 9.4 kg.

Froakie (EN) / Keromatsu (JP), the Foam Frog Pokémon, is able to jump as high as a three-story building, and is 0.3 m tall and weighs 7.0 kg.
